Omega Genève Automatic Date – Ref. 166.041 – 1968 Offered is a classic Omega Genève Automatic Date, reference 166.041, dating to 1968. The watch is housed in a stainless steel case measuring 34.5 mm in diameter (approx. 34 × 40 mm), a well-balanced and elegant size typical of late-1960s Omega dress watches. The watch features a clean white dial with applied hour markers and a date window, complemented by the characteristic and technically interesting instant/quick date switching mechanism, a hallmark of Omega’s automatic movements from this period. Powered by an Omega automatic movement, the watch has been freshly serviced and is running extremely well. All parts are original, including the signed Omega crown and the original Omega crystal with the Ω logo visible at the center. Condition is good overall, with the case, dial, and hands well preserved and showing only light, honest signs of age. The watch will be sold on a leather strap.
