Rolex GMT-Master Cornino, ref. 1675 – 1960, serial 50XXXX. We are pleased to offer an early GMT-Master reference 1675 from 1960 – the so-called “Cornino,” distinguished by its pointed crown guards (PCG). These sharp crown guards are characteristic of the earliest examples and highly sought after by collectors. This watch is fitted with a later Mk 1 Long E dial, which has been relumed on both dial and hands. The dial presents a balanced and cohesive appearance. The case remains in very good condition with well-defined pointed crown guards and normal age-related wear. The caseback is stamped 1675 and dated 1960. Fitted with a folded Oyster bracelet, showing light stretch. Please note the end links are 258 at 6 o’clock and 380 at 12 o’clock.
